Sareena Karim takes home two prizes for her custom hair product company FoliQ!

Sareena Karim (BioE ’22), a Thalheimer Grand Prize Finalist, pitched her custom hair product company FoliQ at the Thalheimer Grand Prize and People’s Choice Competition hosted by the Baker Institute last night! She was awarded two prizes: the RK Laros Foundation Endowed Prize for Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Innovation and the Michael W. Levin ’87 Advanced Technology Award!

Building on her bioengineering background, she has taken haircare to the next level with science. Her business continues to boom with over 800 orders its first year and has since expanded to hair tools and accessories.
